Silia is a warm, exceptionally caring and skilled caregiver, who not only provided outstanding care for two family members over two different periods of time, but supported the entire family as we navigated their very different care journeys.
She provided care in-home for my Dad through the last year of his life during the 2017-2018 timeframe, before he passed peacefully at home in 2018 at the age of 95.
Then Silia was one of three caregivers providing 24 hour care to my sister in her gone during the 2019-2021 timeframe, who had a progressive neurological disease. This was a complicated and challenging task. Silia led the group of caregivers, and worked with our family to manage my sister's overall care, demonstrating exceptional kindness and resourcefulness. She was always helpful, constructive and thoughtful throughout. When my sister's care could no longer be managed at home, Silia occasionally supplemented the staff at the specialized care facility when needed, until my sister passed in 2023.
Silia was someone we knew that we could always rely on and that we totally trusted to provide loving and high quality care to our loved ones. There is no one that I could provide a stronger recommendation for than for Silia. I would hire her again in an instant to help anyone I loved and cared about!
